The Christian Cross
In recent decades, a large Christian cross made up of cement was erected on top of the lower crest of the hill overlooking the town proper of Palo. This cross becomes a shrine for Catholic religious pilgrims during Holy Week, particularly on Good Friday. Usually, people camp out near this cross the night before Good Friday. Presently, the cross stands bearing the wear and tear, as the sign of years, adding the fact that lightning strikes this cross whenever storms occurs.
